This is the action my client took. People always want to know how other people stopped drinking/drug taking. Everyone does it differently but this is how one person did it and it could work for you.
Belief Coding® allowed my client to uncover the real reasons for her drinking. When we ask why do you drink?
Answer: it makes me feel better
But why?
Answer: it stops me from feeling down
Why?
Answer: it allows me to forget
Why?
Answer: because it hurts
Why?
Answer: Because I am to blame
When we keep asking why - we get deep to the core of how someone is feeling and what it is they believe about themselves and the reason they choose to drink/take drugs etc.
In this instance - blame is connected to an incident/memory/negative experience that has created a core belief about themselves. We then work on this memory and help their reflection (inner child) to reframe this experience and heal.
From this experience, my client was able to make the connection to how she felt as a child is exactly how she is feeling as an adult. We were able to get rid of these negative emotions so that she can now deal with her current situation in a more rational manner minus the emotions.
The feeling of needing a drink has gone. There is no alcohol in the house. She tells people she no longer drinks alcohol. She has lost half a stone in weight, looks and feels so much better.
