How taking the first step through the door is the hardest.

Why is that? It's because you're accepting you have a problem and you need help. Well you are not alone because that is exactly how most people feel when they walk through the door of their first meeting.
Everyone has the same anxieties:
1. Who will be there?
2. Will I have have to stand up and speak?
3. What if I know someone?
All this is normal but you have to overcome these worries if you want to get out of the place you're stuck in. Let's dispel those anxieties:
1. There will be other people at the meeting in a similar situation as you who also want to break free from addiction and have a healthier and happier life
2. No you won't have to stand up and speak though you will have the opportunity to introduce yourself and you will probably find you will want to talk a little bit about your situation as it can be a relief to actually let it out.
3. Someone might be there that you know but lets applaud them as well for getting support with their addiction. Remember, they will be feeling just as anxious.
So bite the bullet and take action to reclaim your life from the grasp of cocaine addiction.
